My circumstances were not at all straight forward but Diardie Cater met me and my knotty problems with a calming matter of fact manner.
Diardie was a perfect match for my own way of thinking which helped me a great deal.
I cannot thank her enough for her support through a very difficult time.
No improvement needed.
I don't think you could improve the care given.
Yes patient said 'get me out of here'!!
the staff we met were extremely knowledgable in the palliative care of my husband. They were professional and compassionate and we both put our trust in them to do what was required to make my husband as comfortable as possible in the latter stages.
Rose and Sarah the community nurses were exceptional in their care and I wonder why they could not prescribe the necessary drugs to ease my husband's pain. They have more experience in this than the GP who was able to prescribe but did not have the experience to know when the time was right to increase pain relief.
The HCA's were again, true angels and helpful and supported me. A truly positive experience from a worried time.
Really helpful support with 24 hr back up. Really thankful - no complaints whatsoever. Thank you.
The care I received on my visit to Hospice was of great help to me with my grief. I only had one visit and a home advisor was suggested to which I agreed.Unfortunately it was not the answer for me and I now know that maybe more than the one visit I had to the hospice would have helped me more. The visitor you sent me was very nice but after visit I did not feel I wished it to be repeated as I did not feel it helped me at all. The church and friends and family are still helping me through the grieving process which is very hard after 64 years of marriage.
It was fun and I enjoyed it so it helped me not think about dad in a sad way.
